Clore Garden of Science
The award-winning outdoor Clore Garden of Science was founded in 1998 with the support of the Clore Foundation and is designed to stimulate curiosity and inspire science learning in everyone.
From experiencing a walk on the moon at the TrampoLuna, through whispering to a friend through a Sound Mirror, inquisitive minds explore some of the Earth's most fascinating phenomena.
Spread over 800 square meters of green lawns under the Mediterranean sun, the Garden's nearly 90 hands-on exhibits, large and small, relate to water, energy, planetary science and communication.
Its proximity to the Weizmann Institute’s laboratories is one of the secrets of the Garden's success. Scientists performing cutting-edge research often propose and plan the garden's exhibits.
The Clore Garden of Science also houses the EcoSphere, an educational facility devoted entirely to ecology. Special activities and events take place at the Clore Garden of Science occasionally on holidays and special dates. More information is available at the Clore Garden of Science website.
